Day 6 of the Cultural and Academic Exchange Program between Modern Public School in Delhi and Evrika Lycei School in Baku was a day filled with enriching experiences and heartwarming interactions. The teachers from Modern Public School continued their collaborative efforts with the learners of Evrika Lycei School, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of each other's cultures.
It was a great honour for TeamMPS to be invited by The International Montessori Center, where the Director, Ms. Hasanova Elnara, extended a gracious welcome. The traditional lighting of the lamp in the ceremony where parents were invited set a spiritual tone, and the young students dazzled everyone with their talent and adorable performances.
The team then explored the historical wonders of Heydar Aliyev Centre, Old City & Nizami Street delving into the rich heritage of the city.
In the evening, the Indian teachers were treated to a feast of delicious Azerbaijani cuisine at Sirvansah Musey Restaurant, showcasing the spirit of hospitality and friendship. Laughter filled the air as educators from both schools let loose and danced to old Hindi tunes, forging bonds beyond borders.
A moment of pride and joy came when the students of Evrika demonstrated their knowledge of the Prime Minister of India, reflecting the global recognition of India's significant contributions to the world. The word "Namaskar" reverberated throughout the school, symbolizing the deep respect and admiration for Indian culture.
Each day of the exchange program brought forth a stronger cultural exchange, bridging distances and uniting hearts in a celebration of diversity and friendship. The journey of learning and mutual understanding continues to blossom, leaving a lasting impact on all involved.
