Commemorating the Soil Conservation Day, the school organized several activities to educate students about the environment and sustainable ways of living. The students segregated particles like stone and plastic from the soil as they reduce its fertility, learnt about different soil layers with the help of a transparent glass and also learnt to make their own composts using organic waste, like vegetable peels.
The activities gave students a well-rounded understanding of soil and its functions and was an overall success.
