Modern Public School in collaboration with NIE, Times of India, Tropicana and Smile Foundation organized a Tree Plantation programme in the school campus on 31 January, 2018. The drive was initiated by planting a sapling by Principal, Ms. Alka Kapur, officials from NIE and 10 students of Smile Foundation NGO. Students of classes IV to X enthusiastically participated in the drive wherein they articulated slogans on importance of greenery for life. The assemblage witnessed active participation of students in planting saplings around the campus. The events helped in generating awareness amongst all for the need to join hands towards expanding green coverage of mother earth and preserving our resource for sustainable development.
